The NLW finding aid for Cwrtmawr manuscripts suggests that MS Cwrtmawr 314-315D shares a source with this text, or alternatively that it may be a copy of this text. Lewis (1925, 1958, 1967) claims that this text, and the edition in Cymru Fu (1862), have as their source one of the two copies of the Ystori in the British Library - specifically, the earlier of the two texts, rather than the later copy in Owen Myfyr's handwriting.
