Note

The manuscript was owned by Davidko from the village of Varbitsa, who later settled in Kotel, where he worked as a teacher. The book subsequently passed into the hands of his son Ivancho Davidov, the grandfather of Hristo Aleks. Sapov. The latter donated the manuscript to the National Library in 1928. According to Murko (1890), Pope Krstjo made a handwritten copy of this 1802 manuscript in 1850 in Razgrad. This copy was found in 1871 in the collection of Bishop Anthymios of Widin and comprises 269 leaves.
