Crowned laurel wreath black ink stamp with S.D.S.Y.D.A. in centre at head of recto of leaf a2. Lot 734 in the Fairfax Murray sale held at Christie, Manson & Woods on 21 March 1918, with sale catalogue cutting pasted to front free endpaper. Red morocco gilt-tooled Bibliotheca Lindesiana label on front pastedown with shelfmark T/3 in pencil below.

Bound by Lloyd, Wallis & Lloyd in crushed green morocco with double fillet gilt-rolled border on front and back boards, spine with 6 raised bands forming 7 gilt-tooled compartments with title and imprint information in 2nd and 3rd, double fillet gilt-rolled board edges, gilt-tooled turn-ins with binder's stamp at front and gilt edges.
