Annuli
From The Seven Sages of Rome
One day, while her husband is away, a beautiful married woman sits on her rooftop terrace. A young man walking by sees her, and immediately falls in love. When the wife notices him, she makes obscure gestures (shaking her head, and slapping her face and body), which the young man does not understand.
