The suggestion that this may be Şeyḫ-zāde's later redaction of the text is based on notes in the Bodlein catalogue, which suggests that unlike the original version of the text, which was dedicated to Murad II, this is instead a copy of the later iteration of the text, and is very similar to another Bodleian manuscript, Or. 477, which is explicitly dedicated to Murad II's son Mehmed.
