Incipit or textual title Hér skrifast historia af þeim sjö vísu meisturum í Grikklandi og af Pontiano keisara í Róm.Einnig hans syni, er hét Dioclezianus hvar með í ljós leiðist ótrúleikur veraldarinnar og illra kvenna og hvörnin ólukkan kann afstýrast fyrir ráð og skynsemi vísara manna hvör annars hefði mátt snarlega henda þann óforvarandis sem ekkert kann að athuga. Gefið nú gaum og gætur að svo góðri skemmtun og gleðilegri frásögu; sem svolátandi sem eftir fylgir.
