The "Historia" clearly stands out as an independent text from the "Gesta Romanorum" (see Roth 2004, p. 75).

Roth suggests that "N" (Nürnberg Germanisches Museum Hs 27983) could be the origin of the other manuscripts in Group III, and that the scribe Heinricus (Scholasticus in Greding) can also be associated with Ansbach Staatliche Bibliothek (Schlossbibliothek) Ms. lat. 65 (see Roth 2004, p.75).
