A German translation of six stories found in the Dolopathos tradition appears in one manuscript, Leipzig Universitätsbibliothek MS 1279. However, there is no trace of a frame narrative around the tales. It is therefore not a true "version" of the Seven Sages narrative as we would usually categorise it; we have nonetheless included it in the database as it is the only potential witness for a German version of the Dolopathos.
