There are woodcuts as decoration for the print text, which follows the Gesta Romanorum, but no illustrations for the manuscript. However, blank spaces suggest that initials were intended, or, on fol. 29v, a slightly bigger space might have even been left blank for a more elaborate initial (illustration). There are also the names of the masters in the margins to mark the beginning of their story (see for example fol. 31v and 32v).
