Note

According to Runte, both the 'Aventewr von Diocleciano' and 'Hystorij von Diocleciano' are derived from the Latin version H, though they have 'divergent' embedded stories.

The text of the 'Aventewr von Diocleciano' is found within the B redaction of the German ''Gesta Romanorum''. It is usually internally signalled as distinct from the rest of the Gesta.
