Text strongly deviates from the "Historia" version but, according to Roth, still seems to be based on it, and has been rewritten for Gerard Leeu; the Empress's stories are called hortatio and the stories of the Sages are being called defensio; the text contains 23 xylographs (see Roth 2004, p. 105).
