The only thing that sets the "Historia" apart from the "Gesta" is a heading that is not rubricated. Roth suggests that this is the reason why the editor of the older manuscript catalogue (see Sélestat, p. 555) did not recognise the "Historia" as an independent text (see Roth 2004, p.37). |
