Greene notes the parallels between this text, and the (much later) Gaelic text found in Edinburgh National Library of Scotland Advocates MS 72.1.39. Observing that the Gaelic does not seem to be a translation of the English Version A texts, Greene suggests that this Latin text may instead be the source for the Gaelic. See Green (1944). |
