The 'Continental Group w' is a branch of the Gesta Romanorum tradition (designation by Röll 1986, pp. 215-217). In some of the manuscripts, excerpts of the Historia appear as part of the Gesta Romanorum.
The Continental Group w contains the most manuscripts from the Excerpts: 124. The number of stories and which ones are included varies but >Medicus<, >Amatores< and >Vaticinium< / >Amici< are missing in all of them (see Roth 2004, pp. 111-132).General Information | |
