The 'Insular Group u' is a branch of the Gesta Romanorum tradition (designation by Röll 1986). In some of the manuscripts, excerpts of the Historia appear as part of the Gesta Romanorum. Manuscripts in the Insular Group u only contain >Canis< and/or >Amatores< from the Historia (see Roth 2004, p. 111). Therefore, the database does not list all of the manuscripts. For an exemplary entry see Berlin Staatsbibliothek Ms. theol. lat. qu. 280; for an extensive list of the manuscripts of the Insular Group u (and others), see Weiske (1992), pp. 124-144.
