From The Seven Sages of Rome
In 1997, Steinmetz produced a parallel version of the German version A text, alongside the Latin version which is assumed to be its source-text. Steinmetz refers to this version of the narrative as ' This version of the Sieben Weise Meister is integrated into the frame of the German 'Gesta Romanorum' tradition.
